Job description
Hays Luxembourg is actively looking for an Oracle Database Administrator (m/f) for a tremendous client in Luxembourg. Job description As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing Oracle database systems for our enterprise client. You will work closely with our collaborators and 6 Oracle Database Administrators to ensure the availability, performance and security of the databases. Your responsibilities Install and configure Oracle databases Administer and monitor batch processes. Daily administration of the database, monitoring and tuning, Backup and Recovery, patches. Provide support to development teams. Participate in IT projects Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement. Tablespace management (monitor / add / extend) Able to generate & deliver audit reports Able to refresh Test environments with a fresh copy from PROD database Setup / configure new instance on existing server Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members. Your profile Oracle experience under Unix required. Experience with AIX/Solaris required. Intermediate DBA level (Middle). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. Strong knowledge of the Oracle ecosystem and expertise in Oracle databases Knowledge of the following technologies would be an asset: IBM AIX, Ansible, Sybase, MySQL. English required and fluent in French. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus. Mandatory on-site presence during the integration period.
