Your sophisticated algorithms evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner. Only in this way we enable the performance of our complex photomask systems - the essential building block to manufacture defect-free microchips.
Your Role
Our high-tech measurement systems for semiconductor lithography are characterized by extreme demands on measurement performance. This performance is essentially achieved by optical components at the highest level. Nevertheless, remaining manufacturing tolerances lead to almost insurmountable accuracy limits. Breaking through these limits using algorithms is your new challenge at ZEISS. Your role is to bring such solutions into our products.
You will assume responsibility for the algorithm development of our division-wide mathematical-optical models and their numerical solutions . You identify and negotiate development requirements with internal and external stakeholders. Thereby you coordinate complex interfaces and have a good technical understanding of the product. You will be responsible for the development progress and shape the product vision.
Your Profile
a very successfully completed degree in physics, computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics
i ntensive experience in formulating and implementing numerical simulation methods and optimization techniques for solving inverse problems, experience in scientific machine learning
several years of professional experience in product management, as a project manager or product owner in a S CRUM team, ideally in the field of algorithm development in the semiconductor industry
excellent communication and negotiation skills, very good assertiveness, and team spirit
very good English skills
great passion to successfully solve complex and difficult problems independently and as part of a team
