As Director of the Smart Factory business in Germany, you will play a pivotal role in leading the business and driving growth in the German market. You will be responsible for achieving key performance indicators, financial targets, and ensuring the success of the Smart Factory business. Director Smart Factory Germany (m/f/d) Your responsiblities Lead and manage Smart Factory business in Germany, with full P/L responsibility for the busi­ness and responsible for achieving its strategic goals and financial targets (appr. 30 Mio Euro revenue, 250 employees) Own the budget for the Smart Factory business in Germany Sales and developing service offering to match the local customer needs Develop and execute Smart Factory Strategy in the German market Lead the day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, execution of engineering assignments, and customer service Identify acquisition targets and integrate acquired organizations into our operations Strengthen the cooperation across countries Support and drive long and short-term business planning Develop a high-performing team and ensure people’s professional development and success Lead and actively participate in sales towards existing and potential customers Develop our organization’s sales skills Your qualification Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven experience of minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in consulting engineering companies with a focus on Germany, preferably in the chemical industry Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving financial targets Strong understanding of the German market and business landscape Experience in international environments Ability to work effectively within a global management team and across distinct cultures Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred Problem-solving and decision-making Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus Experience in post-merger integration and change management considered a plus What to expect This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting, international growth company with nice colleagues.
