Your mission

We   ar e   l ooking   fo r a   skille d and   experience d   Senior  Account ant (all  genders )  t o   supp o rt  ou r   financ e   tea m .  The ideal  candidate   i s   p assionate   a bout   a ccounting   and  f inance   and  i s   e xcited   t o   j oin   a  d ynamic   and  g rowing   s tart-up   c ompany .   In   t hi s   r ol e ,   y o u   will   also  b e   a sked   t o   u se   y our   problem- s olving   s kills   t o   push  c ontinuous   p rocess   i mprovement   and  t o   t ake   initiative .  
 
This includes:  

• Handling the day-to-day accounting functions of the company  
• Preparing the financial reporting in compliance with GAAP /IFRS  
• Performing various general accounting processes and handle activities surrounding the monthly closing
• Working closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team so they can p repare and manage budgets and forecasts  
• Generating financial reports for senior management  
• Actively collaborating with external stakeholders, including tax advisors and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate efficient financial management  
• Developing, evolving and implementing new processes to eliminate manual work

What you bring on the table

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus  
• 5+ years of accounting experience  
• Good knowledge of GAAP , IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Experience managing budgets and financial forecasts
• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements  in an international environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment is a plus
• Experience with ERP-systems – nice to have  
• Fluency in English and German

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true “OuterNET™”: a global low latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites. By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth. The constellations, comprising 600 low-earth-orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets. Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. 

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
