Fixed Income Discoverability & AI Product Manager

The Bloomberg Core Terminal business delivers cross-asset class data and workflows through one unified system that connects data, news, analytics, and people to enable our clients to manage the most critical areas of their business. Within our Core Terminal business, Fixed Income is a key priority. As we look to build on the value proposition our clients have come to depend on, we will continue to drive thought leadership and remain a key partner to our clients through continuous innovation.

As part of the Fixed Income Discoverability & User Experience team, you will be focused on improving the way users interact with Bloomberg to discover data, instruments, and functions to answer questions that drive engagement with the Terminal.

We’ll trust you to:

• Have a clear vision for your product(s), articulating how it solves problems and delivers value to our customers.
• Develop a roadmap and lead execution through an agile development process, documenting requirements in our internal systems.
• Ensure stakeholders across the organization are aligned on the product vision, goals, and roadmap, for example ; power point presentations, spreadsheets.
• Work with our clients and the Engineering team to develop functionality & services that make our fixed income Terminal applications easier to use and create more efficient workflows centered around search and discovery.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across Bloomberg, including CTO, Discovery & Foundational Applications (DFA), BQL, Data Management Labs (DML) and AI teams to understand and align with the firm wide discoverability & AI strategies.
• Engage with Market Specialists, Sales and Analytics to maintain a high level of client outreach and bring client stakeholders together to discuss user challenges and requirements.
• Expand and build out our next generation of AI powered products to help fixed income users answer their questions as fast as possible. This includes products like Natural Language Search, Question and Answering, and improved data taxonomies.
• Deeply understand our customers needs, problems, and workflows, as well as our competitive environment and market conditions.

Identify and track strategic goals, outcomes, and key success metrics to measure impact.

You’ll need to have:

• 7+ years of relevant experience*
• Strong understanding of the benefits of AI & data modeling
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple task
• Fluency with data and understanding of product metrics
• Ability to create strategic goals, prioritize outcomes, and develop roadmaps
• Demonstrable domain knowledge of Fixed Income and interest in new technologies
• Experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and an ability to map dependencies

• Experience with creating data models and taxonomies
• Experience working with AI technologies
• Strong presentation and relationship building skills
