As a Technical Project Manager (f/m/d) in the Power Parts for Partners team, you will be responsible for the order processing of medium-voltage switchgear in Germany and provide technical details, costs and services for sales offers in business with external partners.
You provide technical recommendations at various stages of client projects to ensure the successful delivery of project deliverables on time and on budget and in accordance with quality and safety guidelines. In addition, you will work proactively on the further development of our partner program and act independently as an operational contact person for external customers.
Your responsibilities
- First point of contact (internal and external relations) for all operational issues in cooperation with external partners
- Technical and commercial responsibility for project execution, including proactive communication with all project stakeholders (internal & external) with external partners
- Ensuring compliance with contractual conditions
- Responsibility for budget/deadline compliance, forecasting and data control
- Evaluation of special requests in terms of delivery time, pricing, etc.
- Specification of necessary data for scheduling and production by recording the technical items in the ERP system
- Design, financial and scheduling evaluation of special designs, development of the detailed solution by means of CAD system / coordination of the external design service provider, entry of the required parts list structures via the ERP system
- Responsible for the input of the required BOM structures via the ERP system
- Participation in the processing of claims
- Identification and sustainable implementation of optimisation potentials with regard to the products, the processing processes and the programme in the partner business
Your background
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree
- Professional experience in an international environment desirable.
- Ideally, initial experience in the 3D-CAD design of control panels (e.g. with SolidWorks) as well as in the application of SAP
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (other foreign languages desirable)
- Personally, you are characterized by the ability to work in a team, cost-conscious thinking and acting, a pronounced decisiveness and commitment as well as a careful way of working
- You always tackle problems actively, with the focus on the customer
- Confident appearance and assertiveness paired with secure communication
