Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Optical Metrology Division products are used for optical overlay metrology. The portfolio of products includes unique solution packages which are based on hardware and software systems to enhance yield and effectiveness. As a world leader in its field of expertise, the division's products are the most advanced in performance (measurement accuracy of nanometers and below), reliability, ease of use and compatibility with other KLA's products. KLA (Israel) controls over 80% of the world market sales in its field, and its products are used by every major semiconductor manufacturer around the world. KLA Israel is located in the Migdal Haemek Industrial Park.

Job Description

• Use case development: Understand customer problem and derive solutions based on KLA product portfolio and definition of roadmap.
• Data Driven Problem Solving: Define and setup experiments with customers and evaluate data to identify and solve customer problems.
• Be Go-To Product Expert: Answer expert level questions and requests from users of our semiconductor metrology equipment
• Drive Customer Satisfaction: Proactively ensure fast time-to-solution for customer questions and requests
• New Feature Identification: Work with Customers and Field Teams from Asia, Europe, and America to understand new feature requests and translate them into clear requirements for our internal development team.
• International Training and Support: Travel to Asia, Europe, and America to train Customers and Field Application Engineers in using our product
• SW and Product Quality Control: Perform end-product acceptance tests and software quality tests prior to shipment of a new product or new software

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

• At least Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math related subject
• Top-notch English. German, Chinese or Korean is a plus but not necessary
• Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
• Structured and systematic problem solver that can solve issues in a team environment
• Perseverance, drive and conscientiousness to solve important problems ASAP
• Demonstrated competence in using MATLAB, Python, or other statistical software to perform statistical analyses, such as ANOVA
• Strong mathematical knowledge in statistics
• Open-minded team player that is honest, forthright, and consistent
• Motivation to travel up to 50% to assist customers onsite
• Prior experience in semiconductor industry is a plus but not necessary
