Your area of work
As a Working Student in our HR IT unit, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects within both human resources and information technology. You will gain valuable exposure to diverse HR functions, learn about IT systems and processes, and contribute to the smooth operation of our organization.
Our HR IT team implements, maintains and develops HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, S/4 HANA, various other applications and provides 3rd level support to users.
Your responsibilities:
- You will provide basic IT support to employees, including troubleshooting, answering questions, dispatching tickets, organising sprints in JIRA and ensure testing support by the business
- You will help to maintain and update documents and support IT team with technical testing
- You will learn and contribute to ongoing IT projects as assigned by analysing various data sets in MS Excel and preparing presentations to support on project decisions
- You will have the opportunity to learn administrative work for multiple IT systems as well as various project management methodologies
- In addition to these exciting tasks, you will collaborate with colleagues from locations all around the world (e.g. Prague, Luxembourg, London, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Chicago)
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies or other relevant fields)
- You are interested in Information technology and have a sense for technical topics
- You are reliable and work independently in an organised manner. However, you also feel comfortable working in a team and have good communication skills. You are eager to learn and can quickly put new knowledge into praxis
- You have good knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) and feel very confident working with MS Excel
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and preferably in German
- Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of e.g. internships in the IT area
