Job description
Robert Half is looking for a Compliance Officer (H/F/X) who will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, conducting Officer Compliance and Risk for our client located in Luxembourg.
Our client is a leading PE firm managing around 20 billion of asset under Management, focusing on acquiring EU leader in B2B niche businesses. The company has been operating for more than 25 years and has offices in 6 different locations worldwide. In the context of a significant growth, we are looking to strengthen the Compliance team.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain and execute the Compliance Monitoring Program
- Contribute to the " Regulatory Watch " process
- Keeping up to date on new, and changes to existing, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in defining, organizing, and executing the Compliance training plan
- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring all legal and regulatory filings are made on time (e.g. CSSF, AED, SEC)
- Take a leading role in internal and external stakeholder management related to the relevant Compliance controls in a bid to constantly raise the culture of Compliance throughout the business
- Support, and where needed, take a leading role in, key regulatory projects
- Act as the key point of contact for all relevant escalations from business functions and external stakeholders
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Profound knowledge of applicable EU legislation , and Luxembourg's financial laws, regulations, and Circulars (e.g. AIFM Law, CSSF Circular 18/698, Law of 16th May 2023 (transposing Directive EU 2019/1937) , CSSF Circular 22/811, CSSF Circular 22/806, GDPR, including recent developments e.g. CSRD, DORA, AIFMD II)
- Fluent in English ; French is an asset
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Rigor and strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
