Job Description
1. Takes vital signs, height and weight
2. Performs EKG's 3. Assist physicians or nurses on all procedures
4. Takes post procedure vital signs when available
5. Monitors telemetry patients.
6. Collects various specimens in the appropriate manner.
7. Crutch training
8. Assist with ordering supplies.
9. May perform Bladder Scans and inset Foley Catheters and will assist with elimination needs
10. Assists with processing admissions, transfers, and discharges
11. Assists with enemas not involving medications.
12. Performs staple/suture removals
13. Performs Phlebotomy
14. Maintains Supply room and 02 tanks
15. Preceptor for new Technical Staff
16. Follows the Standards of Behaviors.
17. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description
High School Diploma or GED required. Phlebotomy certification and certification as an EMT or CNA with one (1) year experience in a medical setting.
