We are Group Finance & Tax, a diverse team with more than 70 colleagues based in Metzingen. Our aim is to become the leading tech-driven Finance & Tax team for our customers and beyond. Our role is pivotal in ensuring accurate application of accounting and tax regulations, and in delivering comprehensive financial statements for transparency across the Group. In line with our 'We love to support, we need to protect' mission, we develop streamlined Accounting/Tax/Treasury processes and guidelines, while advising our internal customers on operational enhancements and strategic initiatives always striving to actively contribute to the successful implementation of the CLAIM 5 growth strategy.
As Head of Finance Excellence, you are the innovative catalyst in the Finance and Tax domain, driving operational efficiency and excellence in an era marked by rapid business growth and technological change. Reporting to the Senior Vice President Group Finance & Tax, your role is essential in implementing best practices, steering data-driven business process management, and in sculpting a future-ready Finance & Tax team.

What you can expect:
- Team Leadership and Enablement: Lead a team of 4 dedicated Finance Business partners, focusing on nurturing talent and driving a high-performance culture in alignment with business practices and technological advancements.
- Process Optimization and Excellence: Spearhead initiatives to streamline Accounting/Tax/Treasury processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Advisory: Work closely with key stakeholders across the entire organization, providing expert guidance on Finance processes, operational improvements, and governance practices.
- Project Management and Innovation: Partner with diverse internal customers within and outside the Finance & Tax division on CLAIM 5 projects, ensuring strategic alignment, seamless integration, and the promotion of cross-functional collaboration.
- Change Management and Cultural Development: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and excellence within the Finance & Tax team, aligning with the Group's strategic objectives and growth plans.
Your profile: - Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration/Economics, with a focus on Finance or related fields.
- Professional Experience: Extensive experience in finance management within a complex organizational structure, with a focus on operational excellence, transformation projects, and governance.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with a strong commitment to operational excellence in Finance & Tax.
- Project and Process Management Expertise: Strong expertise in project and process management, with certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Prince2, Scrum Master or Lean Six Sigma highly valued.
- Analytical and Strategic Skills: Exceptional analytical ability and a strategic mindset, capable of driving innovation and optimizing processes.
- Communication and Collaborative Abilities: Outstanding communication skills in English and German (B1 level), with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in modern financial tools and systems, adaptable to emerging technologies and trends.
- Quality and Customer Orientation: Commitment to delivering high-quality results with a strong focus on customer-centric solutions.
