Job description

The requirements for wireless networks in terms of latency, reliability and data rate are becoming ever higher as networking increases. With its large product range, Bosch covers a variety of applications for which mobile communications and Wi-Fi represent networking solutions. This internship is about evaluating the performance of Wi-Fi in terms of latency and reliability.

• During your internship, you will execute precise and comprehensive measurements of Wi-Fi networks.
• You will implement algorithms in C Code.
• Furthermore, you will dive into the collected data, utilizing analytical skills to draw meaningful conclusions. 
• Finally, you will document findings, methodologies and insights.

Qualifications

• Education: studies in the field of Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: in programming with C, C++, Bash and Python, as well as in performance measurements (throughput, latency) in networks, knowledge of wireless communications and network protocols, experience working with Linux and embedded systems is an advantage
• Personality and Working Practice: open, responsible and independent
• Languages: good in English and in German

Duration: 4 - 6 months
