Your responsibilities

Uniper is looking for a Working Student to support the telephony services that operate across all business units within Uniper.  The role will involve supporting the Service Owner in delivering the service to our end users and helping to support the development and implementation of future service improvement activities whilst also ensuring daily operational activities take place. This role will offer a great opportunity to build essential workplace skills and be involved in the following topics:

• Providing monitoring and reporting on the key focus areas
• Identifying improvements, including dependent infrastructure that impact the service
• Support in coordinating and monitoring new process improvements
• Get involved with end user issues to help identify resolutions should the processes not lead to a resolution
• This role reports directly to the Service Owner for Telephony
• The placement would be initially for 1 year

Your profile

• Requires good analytical, coordination and communication skills
• Being structured and paying attention to detail will be critical to ensure improvements are delivered
• Ability to identify issues before they occur and to look for solutions or seek advice when challenges arise
• Ideal for someone who is self-managing and driven to deliver improvements to the service
• This would also suite someone who wants to get a broad awareness of Uniper’s diverse Businesses
• Language skills: spoken and written English language is important, with German an advantage
