The Building Regulations department consists of three teams with a total of 28 employees and, as the lower building supervisory authority, is responsible for the entire district with the exception of the towns of Pinneberg, Elmshorn and Wedel. The colleagues in the specialist service are committed to dealing with all matters relating to public building law and ensure proper development, taking into account the legitimate interests of those wishing to build.

These are your tasks:
- Project management as part of the adaptation and further development of processes in the specialist service, including further development of the digital building permit procedure
- Process officer for error analysis, interface maintenance and data maintenance for the specialist service
- Management support for the managers
- Benchmarking and controlling as well as the further development and maintenance of a knowledge database for the specialist service
What you bring to the table:
- Qualification for the 1st entry-level post in career group 2 or training as an administrative assistant with a 2nd clerk training course or a degree in law or a degree in information technology or training as a computer scientist or training as an administrative assistant and the willingness to complete the 2nd clerk training course in a timely manner or equivalent
- In-depth IT knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office
- Desirable knowledge of administrative, building regulations and planning law and experience in their application
- Knowledge of project management, knowledge management, workflow design, databases and programming structures is advantageous
- Customer-oriented approach and clear communication in personal contact
- An independent and careful way of working
- Interdisciplinary communication skills between external IT service providers, engineers and administrative staff
- High level of commitment and resilience
- A team-oriented way of working
