What were looking for
We are looking for a Junior Accountant (f/m/d) to support our finance team on a parttime basis (30 hours/week). In this role we offer you the opportunity to work on financial projects gain extensive experience in finance and accounting and gain valuable insights into the daytoday business of a dynamic company.
Your responsibilities:
- Booking of business transactions in accounts receivable accounts payable and asset accounting according to HGB in DATEV
- Completion of ongoing accounting tasks in daytoday business e.g. correspondence with customers and suppliers (national and international)
- Maintaining and reconciling accounts
- Creating payment proposal lists
- Booking incoming and outgoing payments
- Dunning procedure: Responsibility for the collection of our outstanding receivables (OPOS)
- Management of our automatic dunning system
- Debt collection management: preparation and handover of invoice data and subsequent correspondence with the debt collection agency
- Participation in the optimization of our processes and implementation of your own ideas
We expect:
- Organisational skills and responsible action
- Independent structured and solutionoriented way of working
- High affinity for numbers and attention to detail
- Understanding of financial processes and ideally initial experience in accounting
- High level of motivation commitment and willingness to learn
- Clear communication in written and spoken form in English
- Experienced handling of common online applications (email) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word)
