We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.
We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Key responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices, credit and debit notes, travel claims ensuring compliance with legal requirements, particularly regarding VAT.
- Coordinate and execute weekly payment runs accurately and on time.
- Process incoming payments and perform debtor payment runs, including debtor reimbursement and Direct Debit.
- Manage customer dunning process according to the defined schedule.
- Manage order release process, credit limits, and clearing process based on policy.
- Handle journal entries, recurring postings and accruals accurately.
- Manage the monthly closing process, including accounts clearing, intercompany reconciliation, and switch accounts reclassifications and reconciliation.
- Complete period-end closing activities for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and fixed assets, including debtor/creditor reclassification, bad debt allowances, sub-ledger reconciliation, depreciation, and settlements. Ensure correctness and completeness of Fixed Asset Master Data and Asset under Construction.
We expect:
- College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
- First experience in accounting, in an international environment.
- Deep and broad understanding of accounting incl. VAT regulations.
- Working experience with SAP FI preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
- Communication skills and cooperative mindset.
- High level of accountability and accuracy.
- Team player with a good sense for different company/ country cultures.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Russian; Lithuanian is nice to have.
