A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU
You will work in our Renewable Energy Team with a focus on managing Wind Energy Projects, but also providing technical expertise for these projects.
We are mainly active in East and South-East Europe, Central and Southeast Asia, Africa and Middle East.
Your main tasks will be:
- Project Manager of Wind Energy and Hybrid Projects (Wind/PV/Battery Storage)
- As we cover also solar and other RE- technologies, such as small hydro, biomass and waste-to-energy the willingness to take over also such projects as project manager.
- Provision of technical expertise for studies, design, tendering and implementation of Wind Energy Projects;
- Elaboration of technical proposals
Project locations are around the globe, services to be performed in head office in Bad Homburg and abroad.
A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US
- University degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering, or another suitable engineering degree.
- Proven professional experience in studies and/or implementation of renewable energy projects:
- This shall include experience with wind energy projects, e.g. in wind measurement campaigns, in wind park planning with WindPro or similar planning packages, in wind feasibility studies and in tendering and implementation of wind energy projects.
- Fluent in English is mandatory. Good language skills in other language, such as Russian (preferred, as one focus of our projects is in former Soviet Union countries) or other languages are an advantage.
- Proven professional experience in the field of wind energy of a minimum of 10 years.
- Beside your technical skills, you are communicative, responsible, committed to your projects and you are willing to take over own responsibility for necessary decisions in your projects. You are ready to travel abroad, an advanced user of MS Office and specific wind energy design software such as WindPro, WAsP/CFD or Windographer. Additional skills in using GIS-software is an advantage. You like to look for innovative solutions, to learn new technologies and to take up challenges.
