Job description
We are currently supporting a leading AIFM which is looking to grow their Vendor Management team with an experienced Assistant Vice President. The team is developing, so you will have an impact on its structure and consequently you can utilise your experience in this space.

The role of Vendor AVP will primarily be responsible for the oversight of the delegated activities and reporting.
Key tasks will include:
- Responsible for the oversight of certain delegated functions including depositary banks, transfer agents, accounting and internal audit
- You will develop a strong relationship with third party providers and conduct daily contact
- Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of regulatory and financial reporting
- Coordination and review of the regulatory and financial reporting, before filing to the competent authorities and key shareholders
- You will implement and enhance processes, driving improvements and seeking solutions
- Coordination with depositary banks ensuring the evidence of the ownership of assets
- Ongoing monitoring of the delegated activities: due diligence, KPIs
- Coordination of the processes in relation to the safekeeping of financial instruments and other assets
- Process improvement around the collection of pre-deal information and portfolio reconciliation
- Oversight of the regulatory and financial reporting, before filing with the authorities
- Coordinate audits and tax compliance
- Management of any responsibilities supported offshore
- Maintain and develop policies and procedures, ensuring a strong collaboration with the regulatory watch team
Qualifications and Skills :
- 8 years of relevant industry experience with specific experience in real estate, AIFs, investment management or audit/advisory
- You will need to have a good understanding of depositary banking responsibilities, including knowing the due diligence to be performed and the verification process
- 5+ years of working with alternative investment funds (AIFs) in Luxembourg
- Luxembourg regulatory knowledge is key
- Team player with resourceful mind set – solutions orientated
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required
