- Roles And Responsibilities
As a key contributor to our Finance & Accounting Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing general accounting, policy application, and process administration across various financial cycles, including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, and intercompany transactions.
Your role involves understanding and interpreting Enterprise Standards, SOP, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process and accounting services.
You will develop an in-depth understanding of your discipline, leveraging prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policies and strategies.
Collaboration is key, as you will partner with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and sourcing teams to effectively communicate complex information. Proactive communication with colleagues and the business about material information, along with providing informal guidance to new team members, is essential.
This role has an impact on projects, processes, and procedures within the field. While operating with autonomy, the focus is on executing activities and providing advice within established guidelines.
Problem-solving is a key aspect, utilizing technical expertise and judgment.
You will continuously expand your knowledge in Finance and Accounting, exercising autonomy in decision-making within established guidelines and consulting with senior team members for complex issues. If customer-facing, you will cultivate strong customer relationships, serving as a technical interface between the customer and the company.
Ihre Qualifikationen:
- Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in Finance & Accounting Operations, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
Fluency in both English and German.
Several years of accounting experience.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Desired Characteristics
Master's Degree.
CPA Certification.
Proficiency in interpreting and applying US GAAP, especially in Revenue Recognition, Leases, Inventory, Property Plant & Equipment, and Pension Accounting.
Experience using Alteryx, Python, or R programs alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration and convey complex information clearly.
Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed organizational structure, working seamlessly across various teams and functions.
Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving ability, and established project management skills.
