Job Description Summary: The European Account Executive must have a strong understanding of media planning and trading, ideally with experience in a multi-national/cultural environment across different media types and across markets. Depth and strong understanding of digital channels is important. Client management and market liaison are aspects of the role so confidence in these areas is important. The role includes support in the development and application of planning principles; innovation and media best practices, media performance support, reporting, and brand partnerships. This will involve working directly with agency partners and internal specialist agency divisions. Within the European Hub there’s a lean over-arching management structure providing overall leadership but importantly also discipline leadership (eg. Data & Analytics, and Digital). The Hub works closely with the many local Havas Media teams.

Job Description:

  1. Mission & Responsibilities
    1. Contribute to the media strategy conception (paid, owned, earned, shared) and consistency between on/off leverages and client presentations
    2. Formalize the briefs through the agency system
    3. Coordinate the BU’s teams (Expertise, Insights, Content consultants) to provide to client efficient and valuable media strategy recommendations and operations
    4. Ensure the delivery of media planning and buying operations for the client portfolio
    5. Contribute to the global client satisfaction
    6. Participate in clients’ meetings and be responsible of the clients’ reports minutes
    7. Follow up the clients’ cases
    8. Produce the clients’ media reports and ensure its consistency and alignment with initial objectives
    9. Participate in all campaigns reviews & insights
    10. Ensure the reconciliation of campaigns with initial brief
    11. Provide to the Strategic Consulting Manager necessary information of her/his client portfolio for financial monthly update and P&L report
  2. Previous experience & Industry background
    1. Experience in client servicing or media planning
    2. Media Industry, Data Industry, Tech Industry, Trading Desk
  3. Qualifications & Languages
    1. Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising
    2. Languages: English (Fluent)
