Job description
Your tasks:
- Driving of portfolio planning, steering and underwriting excellence initiatives for one or more european markets in the liability division of HDI Global SE
- Steering local branches by KPI
- Co-creation of local underwriting strategy
- Ensuring execution on local underwriting strategy
- Referral underwriting for major accounts
- Upskilling and training of local underwriters
- Contribution to expert groups in underwriting topics and to the development of a true global underwriting community
- Foster collaboration amongst relevant stakeholders
Your profile:
- Completed studies in insurance and finance, training in insurance and finance with further training as an insurance specialist or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in underwriting, product development or strategy development/portfolio management of liability risks for industrial and corporate clients
- Interest in an international role and experience
- Communication and presentation skills as well as a confident and convincing manner
- Strong analytical skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office package
- Very good written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel and flexibility
