Job description
The role of (Senior-) Sales Manager for the French-speaking part of Switzerland consists in identification respectively acquisition of new corporate clients in the area of Credit Insurance, enhancement of brand awareness and identification respectively management of various sales channels in order to reach new premium volume targets in the region.
We offer a thorough introduction to the complex subject matter as well as to the structure of existing business relationships. This consists of multinational corporations, export-orientated medium-sized companies as well as insurance brokers, banks and distribution partners.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located at choice either in the region itself (home office as base with travelling in the region) or at the Atradius office in Zurich.
Main responsibilities
- Responsibility for systematic acquisition of new corporate clients in the area of Credit Insurance in the French-speaking part of Switzerland in order to reach new premium volume targets
- Responsibility for contract negotiations and prospective customer meetings at C-level, primarily in the French-speaking part of Switzerland
- Analysing market developments and customer needs
- Active and target-oriented cooperation and relationship management with insurance brokers and other sales channels
- Participation in industry-relevant events as well as targeted networking to build and maintain an own network
- Exciting additional tasks on Swiss branch level may occur
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar education
- Several years of B2B sales or consulting experience (in the insurance or financial environment)
- Knowledge or experience in the sale of credit insurance, trade finance or factoring products is a great advantage
- Strong outgoing, enthusiasm, communication and motivation skills
- Persuasiveness and authenticity
- Presentation confidence and negotiation skills
- Interest in economic contexts
- Good negotiating skills in French, German and English, knowledge of Italian is an additional advantage
- Willingness to travel within the French-speaking Region (regular visits to the Zurich office required if based in the region)
