Job description

We have an opening for Field Service Engineers/ Junior Field Service Engineers in our Hockenheim, Germany facility and also in our subsidiary in Bucharest, Romania. This persons will be responsible for installation and after sales service and support of our electric submersible and horizontal pumping systems used in the water, geothermal and oil&gas industry. The support area includes Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Previous experience in the oil sector specifically with ESP artificial lift systems and rotating equipment will be an asset.

Tasks

• Installation and deinstallation of Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) and Horizonal Pumping Systems (HPS).
• Organization of necessary Field Service work including required reporting.
• After sales support, troubleshooting.
• Variable frequency drive operation and programming.
• Responsible for field service inventory and tooling.
• In house support of the Service & Packaging Center in Hockenheim which includes the operation of test benches, assembly and disassembly of components and support of the electrical (panel shop) department.

Requirements

• Electrical or mechanical journeyman, master or technician.
• Experience with electric submersible pumps or other rotating equipment.
• good German and good English language skills (oral and writing).
• Good communication and organization skills, including attention to detail.
• PC skills, including experience using MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.
• Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to define problems.
• Willing to travel on a short notice.
• Must be capable of multi-tasking, self-motivated and have the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
