Your area of responsibility:
- You will manage the Vulnerability Management process using powerful tools for scanning, ensuring the identification and remediation of potential security risks;
- Initiate and lead a continuous attack simulation project with the goal of reducing risks, including lateral movement risks. Drive strategies to enhance our overall security posture;
- Conduct technical testing of IT systems through both manual and tool-supported penetration tests, providing insights and recommendations for improvement;
- Directly contribute to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) by leveraging your experience and expertise for the targets of Vulnerability Management.
What we look for:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a comparable field with a focus on information and software security;
- Sound and detailed expertise with common vulnerability scanning tools, coupled with a good understanding of current vulnerabilities;
- Proven experience in Vulnerability Management and related technologies;
- Familiarity with IT security topics, including encryption, system hardening, tools for penetration testing, etc.;
- Understanding of basic Windows and Linux operating systems, including topics such as credential caching;
- Knowledge of requirements and implementation of IT security guidelines is a plus;
- Proactive, effective, and pleasant communication skills are appreciated, as remediation of vulnerabilities relies on clear communication;
- Strong analytical skills to assess and address security vulnerabilities effectively;
- Proficient in English; German language skills (B1) are a plus.
