DESCRIPTION:
Decypher is seeking Project Manager candidates to support the Persistent Multi-Role Operations (PMRO) located at Ramstein AB.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Serve as the company's primary point of contact for project-related items and appropriately advise on performance, scope, schedule, and budget matters for the company's contract support team.
- Manage relationships and expectations with USAFE & USAREUR
- Evaluate the progression of project milestones and modify work as applicable to ensure overall project quality, and schedule
- Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders
- Assist in the development of monthly progress reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities
- Facilitate the development of information deliverables for a contract in support of the USAFE & USAREUR
- Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program.
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.
- Acts as a primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Monitors work of subcontractors including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
- The Subcontractor is required an understanding and access to the following:
- SmartSheets Integrated Master Schedule to include milestones, timelines, events, testing dates, and estimated completion dates.
- Test protocols. To include testing protocols for monitoring and verifying correct commissioning when developed.
- Test results for all cabling.
EDUCATION:
Six (6) years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; Four (4) years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years relevant progressive experience.
Experience managing performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple international performance locations.
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
