We are looking for Student Worker - Software and Test Development for QNX OS to join our global team with a mind for details and creative thinking. You will work at the heart of the most reliable and secure operating system in the world.  You will gain an understanding & experience of how embedded systems are designed, how virtual machines are configured, tested and how reference software needs to adapt for customer-specific implementations.

In this role, you will:

• Be an integral part of our core tools team
• Be involved in development around QNX boot image generation, which include all code necessary to bring-up a QNX target system
• Bring forward one of the core tools used in setting up safety-critical, real-time embedded systems running a leading RTOS
• Participate in hardening existing code
• Devise comprehensive unit-tests
• Participate in discussion of new features and designs
• Analyze existing code and identify possible usage scenarios
• Implement unit-tests in C language

You will have:

• Working knowledge of C programming language
• Business Fluent English
• Familiarity with gnu “make” is a plus
• Basic experience in module-/unit testing is a plus
