We are looking in Ettlingen, Heidelberg (Germany) or Fällanden (Switzerland) for an IT Demand Manager (f/m/d) Tasks/Responsibilities: Per assignment to Groups/Divisions/Functions acting as primary IT contact in the global IT organization for all related IT topics Fostering dialog with the business to improve IT support for transformations and upcoming changes Providing overall direction, guidance and definition of IT architecture to effectively support business strategy Striving to understand business challenges, customer priorities and competitive issues Enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology Consulting and leveraging existing solutions Maintaining the demand pipeline and act as primary partner for the business functions to capture, structure, align and plan business demand and match this demand with the IT supply functions' capacity Adhering to the IT demand process and capturing and prioritization of the demand towards IT and regular alignment and prioritization of demand Developing and maintaining strong and productive relationships with business leaders associated to a particular group/division or line of service using a variety of methods Conducting needs analysis, organizational readiness assessments, and impact analysis on business requests to identify opportunities to link programs, processes, and systems throughout the organization to achieve optimal efficiency Collaborating closely with Capacity Management and ensuring that the service provider provides sufficient capacity to meet demand Understanding need for thorough demand evaluation and its consequences to follow-on projects Collaborating with other IT Business Partners to develop strategies to align business groups where appropriate Facilitating regular communication channels and forums to align on planned activities in the day to day operations between business units and IT Services as well as reviews on IT performance and incidents Contributing to establish procedures, and oversight management model required to ensure optimum demand collection, translation and forecasting of IT demand Managing, leading and coaching new business requests, changes and optimization to the current Business Application Landscape, in respect to global Bruker IT policies Maintaining demand portfolio in collaboration with other Bruker IT team members Conducting regular reports on Demand Management KPIs Your profile: University degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences or comparable qualification Experienced leader with very good social/collaboration skills and experience in matrix organization Experience as demand manager for any IT related topics (at least 3 years) English language (C1) and German language (C2) Other languages nice to have (e.g. French) Alternatively, experience as a project team member, particularly for implementation of Business Applications and on large scale IT/Business projects Customer focus and service management attitude with a problem-solving attitude Team-oriented collaboration and good communication and presentation skills Effective at interacting with IT staff, Business Staff and Senior Management Knowledge of ERP functionality Solid technical IT know how across ERP, Subsystems (e.g. CRM), Hardware, Software, Network etc. Good understanding on information security and data privacy aspects and impacts of cloud applications Nice to have: Experience with different cultures in Europe, North America and Asia Validation Experience Our offer: A canteen with meal vouchers Job bike Hybrid working possibilities 30 days of vacation Modern air-conditioned buildings State-of-the-art office space & infrastructure Free employee parking Highly satisfied and forward striving teams Talented and diverse employees from and all over the world Finally, of course, the fact that even though we are listed on the stock exchange, we are still safe and sound in the hands of our owner and thus able to weather all storms Start your career and apply now for the job on our website Please use our online-application form (Reference number 2022-13294)!
