As a startup, we've built a standardized platform to make logistics more digital, efficient and sustainable.

Did you know that the industry still handles important data for planning and executing shipments like it did 25 years ago? Manually and completely unstructured! When we realized how often there are ambiguities, truck rejections and delays in transports because of this, and what the consequences are (troubleshooting, waiting times and costs, as well as extra kilometers, customer complaints and penalties), we had to find a solution.

With Loady, everything is different, because on Loady, companies manage their logistics requirements themselves - and for the first time in a standardized way. They then simply share these requirements with their business and logistics partners. With digitally available data and comprehensive online views for carriers and drivers, Loady is a true win-win for the entire industry, across industries and around the world.

We are a young, international, very professional team andwork from all over Germany. Virtually we are in contact all the time, every 2-3months we meet in our cool location in Mannheim. Micromanagement is not ourthing: we rely on agile methods, self-organization and direct, opencommunication channels. Up to 60 days a year we also offer the possibility to"Work from Everywhere in the EU".

Your mission:

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the growing development team. You will work in an agile team with latest technologies to build modern, scalable and high-quality solutions for our customers. Our team has an end-to-end responsibility for the system, including system design and architecture, writing code with high standards, hosting the services in the Azure cloud, and guaranteeing service reliability and security. There is plenty of space for your own ideas to provide the best user experience.

• Be part of an agile DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility along the complete product lifecycle
• Design and develop the frontend of our innovative logistics platform according to UI/UX designs, business requirements and user feedback
• Build, test and ship features using modern frameworks such as Vue.js
• Take responsibility for high code quality and long-term maintainable software
• Participate in frontend architecture decisions
• Ensure a great user experience including high performance, reliability, stability and security
• Collaboratively work with backend engineers to define APIs and data models

Your profile:

• 3yrs+ proven work experience as a Frontend Developer, Web Developer or similar role
• Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript and Vue.js
• Experience with developing and shipping scalable user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks
• Experience with implementing frontends according to UI/UX designs and mockups
• Experience with designing reusable components
• Experience with responsive web design
• Experience with implementing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) would be a plus
• General understanding of data protection, data security and governance
• Experience in working within an agile and fast-paced environment
• Experience in a DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility for the entire product lifecycle
• Self-organization, team collaboration, agile mindset, problem solving, positive attitude and high motivation
• Analytical mindset and a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Remote work - based in Germany
