For our headquarter in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of
Recording and posting of credit and debit business transactions, in particular of incoming invoices taking into account local VAT regulations.
Participation in and, if necessary, technical coordination of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the Daiichi Sankyo Europe subsidiaries or the European parent company in accordance with IFRS, local commercial and tax law (VAT)
Posting and monitoring of partial payments, prepayments and accruals and timely management or preparation of payment runs
Management of open items incl. clarification of differences with the specialist departments, ongoing maintenance and reconciliation of general and sub-ledgers
Supporting the quarterly preparation of the internal reporting package
Close cross-functional cooperation with the internal departments at the European headquarters as well as with the local Finance Directors and the staff in the subsidiaries
Functional contact person for local Finance Directors as well as for tax auditors, tax advisors and auditors on relevant topics
Participation in projects or sub-projects for the optimization of accounting processes as well as the transformation of the European Finance Shared Services
Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a successfully completed Finance-related professional education
Professional training (e.g. financial accountant or balance sheet accountant) or certification is an advantage, ambition for further professional training is desirable.
Several years of experience in accounting in an internationally operating company, especially in accounts payable and accounts receivable, ideally also in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements or several years of experience in Financial Audits or Accounting advisory
Experience in auditing, tax consulting or accounting-related management consulting is an advantage
Experience in project work in the field of finance and accounting, ideally in the environment of global business services, shared services or in transformation contexts would be an advantage
Excellent knowledge of IFRS and ideally HGB, good knowledge of international VAT law desirable
Good knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP ECC or S/4 HANA and MS-Office
Very good to business fluent written and spoken English and German as well as other languages is an advantage
Very good communication skills with a convincing manner
Very high customer orientation, ability to work in a team and deal with conflicts, as well as enjoy international, cross-functional cooperation
