The Chair of Clinical psychology and digital psychotherapy at the Faculty of Psychology is looking for a
research associate – PhD student (m,f,x) for 3 years, 29,8725 hours per week, TVL E13
Within the framework of the Alexander von Humboldt-funded research project YVORI (Young VOices Research and Interventions a highly motivated PhD Researcher is being sought at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Digital Psychotherapy
The YVORI project is led by Prof. Dr. Mar Rus-Calafell and aims to carry out a series of longitudinal and cross-sectional studies with people reporting distressing and non-distressing psychotic experiences, from a transdiagnostic perspective. Additionally, the project aims to investigate the effects of a novel digital intervention for distressing auditory hallucinations (i.e., AVATAR therapy) for young people with a clinical diagnosis and seeking help. The PhD candidate will be responsible for this exploration of the effects of this novel digital intervention, from experimental and therapeutical perspectives. The programme allows for a synergic development of knowledge about etiology, symptom progression and treatment for distressing psychotic experiences whilst providing people with a platform to feel supported and share their everyday challenges.
