WHAT WE OFFER
In the PM-OPEMEA-TSM-PCT department of the Technical Site Management NRW, we are the specialists in the field of Process Control Technology at the Niederrheinwerke (NRW). We support the teams of Maintenance Management PCT as well as Asset Management PCT with expertise in the areas of Process Analytical Technology, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Process Control Systems and Functional Safety / Reliability. We are responsible for the maintenance and further development of these special electrical and process control systems. In your new position as "Head of Functional Safety and Reliability NRW" you will take over the technical and personnel management of a highly motivated team, which is responsible for the topics of functional safety and the maintenance as well as increase of plant availability in NRW. In doing so, you will work independently as a group leader and have the following main tasks:
You lead a team of engineers and are responsible for the development of the team members
Together with your team, you provide the technical expertise in all aspects of functional safety and are responsible for the development and creation of test plans for functional safety
With your team you provide the expertise for the Reliability PCT and the improvement of the PCT to ensure a high plant availability.
You ensure that external and internal requirements are met (safety regulations, technical standards and legal requirements)
Together with your team, you support the maintenance management in the development of solutions for functional safety within safety considerations for complex tasks
You will be involved in international working groups on functional safety
You continuously develop the processes of Functional Safety as well as reliability and improvement and are part of a global community in doing so.
You create uniform FS standards and are responsible for the localization of global technical standards.
You are responsible for the incident data management
You are responsible to create PCT basic trainings
WHAT YOU OFFER
You have a university degree (master's degree or PhD) in the field of process engineering, process technology, chemistry, physics, automation technology or a comparable qualification
You have many years of practical experience and knowledge in the field of engineering, in maintenance or in production ideally already in the field of Functional Safety
You have a solid knowledge of technical best practices and standards, processes, tools and systems regarding plant maintenance
You can leverage your strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as your extensive leadership experience and abilities
You are open-minded, flexible, creative and always willing to actively drive continuous improvement and the changes that come with it
Strong analytical skills, innovative spirit and an independent as well as structured way of working are your strengths
Ideally, you have the ability to take on the legal responsibility for electrical safety
Fluent written and spoken English round off your profile
