YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Manager at Open Text, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of your region’s business.  This includes strategic planning and the execution of plans to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas.  As a seasoned sales professional, you know how to engage, motivate, and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives and will be spending the majority of your work time coaching and developing your team to enable their success. For this, you as a leader will need to drive value-driven customer engagements, quality and innovation in every interaction. As a leader for the business in your region, you will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen customer relationships at the executive level.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Customer engagement : Growing customer satisfaction across the assigned region by providing exemplary service and support.

• Sales leadership :

  1. Leading and directing a team of sales professionals who are able to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
  2. Attracting, engaging and retaining a team of high performing Account Executives.
  3. Training, developing and directing reports in product knowledge, time and territory management, and competitive knowledge

• Business management :

  1. Responsible to develop, implement, and measure regional sales strategies and plans complete with accurate forecasts.
  2. Contribute with value to assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and  resolving customer issues.
  3. Lead complex and creative  value drive deal making and closing, leveraging the OT capabilities .
  4. Proactivity to leverage the extended team in support, technical , services, partners  and global accounts to win in the market.
  5. Predictability and consistency. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching and host regularly scheduled performance reviews.
  1. Executive exposure , participating in various headquarter/regional planning and training activities. 
  2. Develop your technical skills of ITOM solutions with strong cloud focus. OT has a strong focus in skills development for you and your teams.
  3. Develop your executive capabilities and experiences by being the reference person for the ITOM business in DACH region, in front of  partners, clients and employees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and significant enterprise software sales experience with prior sales leadership experience.
  2. A deep knowledge of the IT Operations market, its competitors, partners and related industries.
  3. A proven ability to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
  4. A passion for leading a team and a demonstrated ability to drive results through others.
  5. Strong business acumen and an ability to manage strategic plans with partner and company executives.
  6. Ability to analyze complex situations and employ creative and effective decision-making to solve problems/achieve results. 
  7. Knowledge of accounts and connections within key accounts within the region is considered an asset.  
  8. A willingness to travel within assigned territory.
