In your new role as an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving user growth in the Middle East and North Africa. In contrast to typical AE roles, you will drive all Go-to-market activities in the region, i.e. Marketing, Sales, Customer Succes, and, if applicable, Partner Management – while your main focus will be on sales. Leveraging the tools and expertise of think-cell’s central GTM functions will enable you to maximize efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Identify, research, and map selected accounts in the MENA region for effective outbound targeting (run email sequences, do selected cold calls).
- Pursue opportunities (identify use cases, run demos, create business cases, orchestrate the expertise in the company where needed).
- Localize or define and run marketing campaigns – with support from our central team.
- Follow up on Leads and inbound requests.
- Maximize conversion of trials (e.g. adjust email sequences and messaging).
- Run account reviews.
- Negotiate, and close deals.
- Provide post-deal adoption support (e.g. trainings).
- Expand existing and identify additional user groups.
- Detect potential churn and apply preventive measures.
- Identify and activate resellers, train their staff.
Your profile
- Proven track record in sales, account management or business development (min 2 years) in an Enterprise SaaS / software or tech company.
- Strong understanding of B2B software purchasing practices, buyer profiles and reseller relationships.
- Previous experience working and demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships in MENA, specifically in the GCC region, is a big plus.
- Strong knowledge of the business landscape in the region, including gov. entities (i.e., ministries, sovereign wealth funds, etc.) and private companies (especially in key industries).
- Familiarity with regional business culture and practices to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of common GTM tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Outreach).
- Based in or willing to move to the Berlin area.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region if/when needed.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with think-cell is a big plus.
