Requirements

*A deep and solid understanding of Swift, UIKit and REST;

*further experience with SQLite, NoSQL, GCD, AVFoundation, Instruments and encryption is helpful

*Interest in new Apple technologies such as SwiftUI and Concurrency and the implementation of these in existing projects;

*Working experience with digital media such as MP3, PDF and ePub and associated challenges is helpful

*An empathetic, communicative personality who values teamwork and enjoys designing components with a clear and simple API

*Good written and spoken German and English skills

Tasks & Responsibilities

*Make architectural and conceptual decisions that affect hundreds of thousands of users in institutions such as libraries and schools

*Write robust code that can be found in a large ecosystem and is secured by appropriate meaningful tests

*Implement new features, set up new products and solve existing problems

*Take care not only of the development, but also of the operation of the application

*Collaborate with the entire team (Android, iOS, web, backend, ingest and support) on a daily basis using tools such as GitHub, Slack, Jira, Miro and Zoom
