DCUBED is hiring ambitious individuals to join our space crew and "Do Big Things In Space"
We are seeking a new crew member and your mission will be to support the development of the next generation of DCUBED solar arrays.
You will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing of rigid and flexible solar arrays
Following the product from design consolidation through to customer delivery you will design and manufacture
ground support equipment for ground testing
You will be responsible for the breadboarding of structural concepts and processes for design validation and
process consolidation purposes
You will implement and improve existing MAIT processes & participate in test campaigns for flight hardware
qualification and acceptance
Here is what you bring to the table
Your Background
- BS in Mechanical Engineering + 3 years relevant experience, or
- MS in Mechanical Engineering + 1 year relevant experience
- Experienced with mechanical design and GD&T
- Experienced with manufacturing of metal parts (milling, lathe, CNC machining)
- Fluent in English
Nice to have requirements - Proven record of flight hardware development
- Familiar with polymer manufacturing processes
- Experience with environmental testing of flight hardware
- Experienced with data processing in Python
