Manufacturing Engineer (d/f/m) Process FMEA

This position is a member of the Global Manufacturing Engineering team, who supports the plants with new process innovation, manufacturing standardization, as well as PFMEA and process audits . The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer primarily focus on the support for development of manufacturing systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and lead the development of new assembly processes or modifications to existing processes from a PFMEA perspective
• Develop and update standards to ensure a consistent global process approach to manufacturing control and auditing
• Collaborate with product engineering on new product concepts to ensure the design is manufacturable considering PFMEA methods
• Collaborate in preparation of initial process flow and layouts in conjunction with the plant
• Support the DFM/DFA workshop once a new product is approved for production
• Work with local manufacturing engineering on Design Reviews, control plans, PFMEA and production audits

Your profile

• Degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or a related field
• First professional experience in industrial engineering, e.g., as an engineer within a tech-manufacturing environment, ideally in automotive
• Ideally, first experience with process engineering & quality management
• Strong team and communication skills, as well as a sense of responsibility
• Ability to work within a global team and interact with various cultures to achieve success
• Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad
• Fluent in German and English
