Experienced Stress Engineer - Airframe & System Development (m/f/d)

Fascination aviation - Ready to take off! For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!

Your Tasks

• Calculation according to manual methodology and with the aid of FEM (linear and non-linear) 
• Preparation and approval of verification reports for static strength and fatigue 
• Development of test programs and test orders as well as supervision of the tests 
• Verification of lifetimes, inspection and maintenance intervals 
• Structural analyses/strength calculations during the various development phases, from concept to detailed design, with the aim of optimizing design in terms of strength, lifetime, weight, and cost 
• Support with approval processes, e.g. incorporation of verification documentation into the approval database (Nectar) 
• Handling of construction deviations including the definition of rework and repairs 
• Handling of customer service inquiries

Your Profil

• M.Sc./Eng. or PhD in Computer science or a related field required 
• Experience in the aerospace field related to statistics and fatigue analysis.
• Basic knowledge of python  Deep knowledge of linear/non-linear FEM methods (Hyperworks, NASTRAN, Optistruct)
• Excellent knowledge in preliminary sizing and dimensioning of subsystems/components (metal and composite materials)
• Experience in the certification process of CS 27/29 
• Proficiency in standard manual methods (Niu, Bruhn, HSB, etc.)
• Experience in testing (coupon and component tests)
• Good knowledge of general structural requirements for aircraft ( flight, landing fatigue loads, bird strike, damage tolerance, etc.)
• Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
