IT Service Management Specialist (m/f/d)

YOUR JOB

The role of the IT Service Management Specialist (m/f/d) is to ensure the proper operation of Oetiker IT solutions so that end users can perform their organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting for other support teams and actively resolving user requests.

• You are the central contact person (m/f/d) for IT problems (mainly IT malfunctions and service requests)
• You monitor the status of tickets in the IT Service Desk and document the tickets accordingly
• You process and track service desk tickets through to resolution
• You process requests for the EMEA time zone and beyond, regardless of the location or language in which the request was made
• You will work with a global IT support team
• You will track and document problem resolution processes for service requests, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions and actions
• You install required software and hardware, including maintaining inventory for hardware and software assets
• You carry out IT onboarding with new employees (m/f/d)
• You monitor and test hardware, software and network resources to ensure a high level of performance, security and integrity
• You review and perform operational system maintenance in coordination with other IT support teams

YOUR TALENT

• You have completed vocational training in the IT sector
• You have several years of professional experience in a similar position
• You speak English fluently and can also express yourself in writing
• You have good problem-solving, documentation and communication skills
• You are a team player, able to work under pressure and show commitment
• You are able to deal with a variety of IT systems such as Windows, Mac OS, Office365, Active Directory, Azure, virtual servers and production machines etc.
• Previous experience with Manageengine Servicedesk Plus Cloud and Deluge Scripting is an advantage
