Head of Distribution Office (all genders welcome) The Head of Distribution Office oversees the strategic control, organization, and advancement of skilled human resources, along with associated equipment, infrastructure, methods, and tools, to bolster the business operations. This role entails disciplinary leadership over the complete sales organization, comprising sales representatives, internal technical and commercial specialists. Additionally, the incumbent actively contributes to attaining regional and business-oriented objectives, thereby directly influencing the overall success of the group.
Your Responsibilities: - Setting clear department and individual goals, make performance measurable and transparent all in line with the goals for the sector Germany.
- The "Head of Distribution Office" has the disciplinary leadership of the department managers and staff positions in his or her area of responsibility (further described as direct reports).
- Tactical resource planning & plan for succession.
- Effectively overseeing employees' competencies, experiences, and well-being.
- Contribute to the definition of regional and business goals in the form of feasibility analyses in his/her area of responsibility and give appropriate feedbacks to the executive management.
- Facilitate alignment primarily among diverse departments, with a focus on fostering collaboration within the Project Office as well.
- Overall department performance in his/her area of responsibility and co-responsible for meeting Regional targets.
- Ensuring the compliance with internal procedures, code of conduct and local regulations.
- Supporting online and offline HR recruitment initiatives and encouraging a proactive, direct sourcing mindset towards Talent Acquisition.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of experience and proven record in the leadership of employees, product and service management, market (research), sales and sales-related (e.g. marketing) activities desirable.
- Several years of experience in the related industry (e.g. Oil, Gas and Hydrogen) desirable
- Well-structured, strong time management and organized.
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft and CRM software.
- Hold self and others accountable for achieving goals and standards.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Leading by example.
