Job description
Tasks as a system administrator
- You administer, control and optimize IT systems in a Microsoft environment
- In your role as system administrator, you support the specialist departments in setting up and operating their applications
- You work and coordinate the cooperation with external service providers
- You analyze and document error situations and evaluate solution approaches for successful troubleshooting
System Administrator Qualifications
- You have a degree (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering) or equivalent technical training and relevant professional experience
- You have experience with Windows application server
- Ideally, you have experience in the creation of security-specific documentation
- You have very good communication skills, also enjoy working in a team and show a strong sense of initiative and personal responsibility
- You have a good command of written and spoken English
You have good to very good knowledge in the following topics:
- Windows operating systems for servers and clients
- Microsoft-based authentication and management environments
- Operation and maintenance of databases
- Routers, switches and firewalls
- Monitoring and logging systems
- Dealing with ticket systems
