Your tasks
- Administration of the existing high-availability virtualization platforms for servers (VMWare), storage (EMC²) and desktops worldwide
- Responsible for the backup (Avamar, Networtker, CyberProtect and CyberSense)
- Operational management of projects relating to automation, centralization of the IT landscape and setting standards
- Analyzing and solving problems as well as further developing the areas of IT infrastructure and security
- Documentation of technical implementations, architectures and processes
- Responsible for IT purchasing
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the areas of Windows Server, AD, Azure and VMWare
- Knowledge of backup strategies and technologies
- Knowledge of IT security and securing critical IT systems (e.g. firewall, MFA)
- High level of problem-solving skills, internal customer orientation and commitment
