We are looking for a System Architect for Embedded Software Development (m/f/d) to actively support our Research & Development department!
This is how You Make a Difference
- You develop Passenger Information & Public Address systems (PIS-PA) and network system solutions and coordinate the design with the customer.
- You define development tasks (both internal and external) and carry out developments.
- As lead engineer, you carry out all relevant software tests.
- You develop test environments and independently create auxiliary programs and scripts for the individual test stages.
- You define the most important key points and test criteria.
- You plan and carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) (both internally and externally).
- You carry out bug fixing and troubleshooting at all service levels.
You are
- a team player who feels comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- interested in learning about and using new technologies.
What you Bring to the Table
- A degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Familiarity with Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Linux systems.
- An excellent grasp of complex multi-interface systems.
- Knowledge of the programming languages C, C++, Assembler.
- Experience in using the tools Git, Jira, VS-Code.
- Written and spoken English.
- Many years of experience in the field of Passenger Information & Public Address systems (PIS-PA) and networks for rail vehicles, ideally in a managerial role.
- A high degree of flexibility and willingness to work in global and intercultural teams.
- Depending on the location, occasional willingness to travel to the global project locations.
