Our client is looking for a Tender Manager who will be responsible for expanding the market through client acquisition and relationship management of existing clients.

For this role, the client is looking for someone who is eager to navigate and expand the market for their product.

The client is involved in the sale/rent of specialized maritime equipment for various maritime scopes of work, such as renewables, dredging, civil or other attractive projects.

Function description

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence within the maritime industry
• Identify and target potential clients and expand the worlwide market for the clients' product
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and market developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, or Engineering (Offshore, Civil/Mechanical, Marine)
• At least 3-5 years' experience and preferably gained in the Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas industry or maritime related industry
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus
• Team player with ability to work on own initiative
• Someone who management can trust with "a mission"
• Willingness and readiness to travel worldwide
