This is what you enjoy As Lead Accounting & Finance - Germany, you will handle all accounts receivable & payable management and ensure the timely processing of overdue payments with customers and vendors You will prepare and review the quaterly analytical review - sales, SGNA & balance sheet schedules You will also be responsible for tax compliance - preparing and filing tax returns, including VAT returns on an annual basis You will prepare and file monthly reports with the authorities: VAT, Intrastat and EC sales You will also ensure compliance with withholding tax on all milestone/royalty payments and report the same to the authorities on a quarterly basis, ensuring that withholding tax certificates are sent to partners You will coordinate with external auditors to meet legal and statutory requirements, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) You will also review trial balances and prepare the required schedules Finally, you will ensure compliance with SOX controls and regular review of RCM (Risk Control Metrics) This makes us curious You have a degree in Economics with a focus on Accounting/Finance or commercial training with further training as an accountant You have several years of experience in SAP, German GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and a good knowledge of all MS Office programs You have the ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities You communicate proactively and effectively Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile What we offer Varied tasks within an internationally successful group of companies A distinctly collegial atmosphere embedded in an appreciative and employee-oriented corporate culture An attractive salary as well as extensive social benefits, such as a company pension plan, fuel vouchers, ice cream in the summer, barbecues, free drinks, ...
