About the job: Kent is looking for a HSSE Advisor to be based in Burghausen, Germany.
Key Responsibilities: - Develops and implements HSE and Quality management systems through policies, procedures, and guidelines that are consistent with the organization's objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures all activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices through monitoring, training and enforcing of guidelines and is accountable for performance of their related teams.
- Conducts regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develops appropriate mitigation strategies. Works with other departments to identify potential risks and develops controls to manage them.
- Develops materials and delivers training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities with regards to HSE and Quality. Evaluates systems to determine the effectiveness of training programs.
- Monitors and reports on HSE and Quality performance by analysing data, identifying trends and developing appropriate strategies to improve performance.
- Develops and maintains relationships with regulators and industry partners to ensure that the organization is up-to-date with the latest regulations, standards, and guidelines. Participates in continuing education programs and industry conferences or meetings.
- Develops HSE and Quality budgets for the program, monitors expenses, and ensures that the program remains within budgetary constraints.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: - Educated to degree level.
- Relevant experience with a successful track record in leading the HSE function with an energy services company.
- Good knowledge of best industry standards and regulations within HSSE.
- Chartered Engineering Status or working toward chartership.
- Good communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written).
