Building solutions for a better life. The business area Bosch Building Technologies is a leading international supplier of systems, solutions, and services that enhance the safety of people, buildings, and property, and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-sectional functions within the business area are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed by a new owner as a sustainable core business.
- International and interdisciplinary collaboration: As a Strategic buyer for Trade Goods, you will become part of the company being restructured in the future and will therefore work in a globally networked team of around 4,300 colleagues that operates in over 50 countries.

- You analyze the portfolios to be managed and define and develop the implementation of the material field strategy in collaboration with the BU.
- Within the framework of the RB guidelines, you make decisions about the finished goods (e.g. Speakers, amplifiers, electronic assemblies) purchased from third parties.
- You evaluate and assess the commercial aspects of supplier management.
- You prepare and carry out annual price negotiations and negotiate contracts with suppliers within a defined financial framework and according to targets.
- You will make decisions about entering into new supplier contracts and oversee third-party vendorswith a focus on business procurement, partnership management and relationship building.
- You will participate in escalation and bottleneck management through appropriate assessments to maintain the supply chain.
- You support the plants operationally and with regard to production options to ensure supply availability.
- Education: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field required.
- Personality and Working Practice: Structured working and entrepreneurial mindset in an international environment. High affinity for cross-departmental cooperation.Open, flexible and target group-oriented communication skills as well as high level of resilience and assertiveness.
- Experience and Know-How: 5+ years of professional purchasing experience in the area of finished goods of electronics assembly or audio products. Experience in supplier bottleneck management and communication across management hierarchies. Task force experience preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
