YOUR ROLE & MISSION
The role of the Electrical Engineer MV (m/f/d) is mainly to follow the purchasing of TRU:
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Reviewing customer specifications
- Participating in technical meetings with customers and suppliers
- Issue project specific documents for inquiry and purchasing of TRU
- MV Single line diagram
- TRU data sheet (Transformer/Rectifier/Switchboard)
- TRU Requisition and associated documents (procedure/ITP etc…)
- Adapt technical delivery specification documents based on project specifications
- Analyze supplier’s offers
- Issue TBE (Technical Bid evaluation) of different suppliers (2 or 3)
- Participate to CBE (Commercial Bid Evaluation)
- Identification and defining accessories for the Cooling, Control, and protection of transformers, converters, harmonic filters, compensation banks
- Support the project team in defining interfaces between TRU and other systems
- Main supply to TRU, Auxiliary supply to Auxiliary supply to McPhy auxiliary system components, etc...
- Visit to supplier’s production site for quality approvals, project progress, non-conformities and FAT
- Participation in electrical audit, FAT and SAT
- Responsible for clearing non-conformities with respect to equipment’s related to main power supply of stack
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d), with emphasis on transformers and rectifiers
- Proven experience with transformer- rectifier units and their sub-components such as cooling, control, monitoring and protection of the electrical systems
- Experience in reparation of RFQ and support to procurement
- Understand and application of ANSI standards and IEC standards
- Understanding the application of explosion protection procedures in accordance with IEC60079
- Good knowledge of the converters and topologies and the relationship between pulse, harmonics, and DC ripple
- Knowledge of MV transformer (20kV/400V)
- Experience in cable calculations and voltage drop calculations
- Experience in E- HAZOP
- Knowledge of safety standards and requirements
- FAT & SAT procedure for Transformer - Rectifier systems. Preparation and validation at supplier
- Fluent in English, German and/ or French would be an advantage
- Experience in site support activities
- Ability to work in a team, intercultural competence, cost & deadline awareness
