We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager Payments & Financing Services to lead the commodity related to payment services, insurance, treasury products and other financing services and support relevant Zalando Business Units in delivering procurement and commercial objectives including the translation of their functional strategies into sourcing plans.

You will be responsible for managing the procurement commodities that includes the following areas: Payment Processing Services, Credit Card Acquiring, Solvency, Risk & Fraud, Dunning & Collection Services, Insurance and Financing Services.
You will partner with senior leaders of each respective BU in ZPS, Treasury and Finance to fulfil their procurement needs as well as advice them strategically
You will ensure that you develop respective sourcing strategies based on budget plans and pre align with relevant stakeholders
You will deliver commercial improvements year over year for your area of scope based on clear objectives
You will develop, establish and co-own relationship with key strategic supplier relationships
You bring procurement experience, preferably in payments and financing services with strong analytical background
Have at least 5 years relevant procurement experience (direct, indirect, retail) in fast-paced organisations across different commodities and industries
Proven skills by ensuring you can live Zalando mindset like Act like an owner, Put yourself in your customer shoes and Think Big, Act Fast
You are used to working autonomously and efficiently in a highly self-driven manner
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sourcing, supply chain management, finance or comparable qualification.
You are analytical and have a problem-solving attitude with a proven ability to achieve cost savings and overall efficiency on focused categories of spend
You are able to coordinate and manage multiple internal stakeholders with various levels of hierarchy and drive collaboration and partnerships with our vendors
Effectively communicate (verbal, written and visually) globally, in English, across the matrix and across a broad partner base in varied settings.
