Doctoral Position in Public Administration / Public Policy with a focus on public sector corruption

(part-time 50 %, E 13 TV-L)

Reference No.: 2024/047. The start date is June 1st, 2024. The position is available initially for four years with option to extend. Until January 2025 the working hours can be increased to 65 %. Increases of working hours after January 2025 are intended, contingent on successful acquisition of third-party funding by the head of the working group of Public Administration.

The doctoral position is situated at the chair of Public Administration at the intersection of public policy and public administration. The successful candidate will conduct their own paper-based PhD research project on a research question of their choice that relates to the research project “COVICORR: Comparing mask scandals in 27 European Union member states”, see At least one PhD paper should make use of the data collected in the COVICORR project. The working languages are English and/or German. Your application should include an outline of your planned PhD project, which will consist of three papers in English language related to the topic of public sector corruption, of no more than three pages excluding references.
