Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
- Ensuring that a handbook and the flight test operations manual, when relevant, are prepared and updated as required by point 21.A.243
- Cooperation with EASA in developing procedures to be used for the type certification process
- Prepare and coordinate the establishing of procedures
- Perform and coordinate the continuous update of the Design Organization Handbook and all related procedues, processes, templates and lists,
check and assure continuously the compliance of the DOA with Part 21 - Foster close cooperation with the Design Teams, Flight Test, Prototyping and Quality
- External interaction involves -together with the Chief of Airworthiness Function- to communicate and coordinate closely with the EASA DOATL
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
- Airworthiness Office Specialist, Airworthiness Engineer or similar for more than 8 years in a Design Organization under EASA Part 21 J or comparable regulations
- Engineering degree in aeronautical science or equivalent education
- Thorough knowledge of the applicable requirements to Type Certification of aircraft, ideally stemming from different categories of products
- Thorough knowledge of the EASA regulatory environment and EASA practices
- Previous involvement in EASA Type Certification Processes
- Excellent command of English language
- Team player with strong communication skills
